Takeoff and landing performance data, weight and balance data, and other aircraft-specific data on this site are derived from publicly available Pilot's Operating Handbooks. This data is provided for educational purposes only. Performance values vary based on aircraft condition, maintenance status, pilot technique, and environmental conditions not captured by any calculator. Always use the POH for your specific aircraft and registration.

Regulatory Information. The Pilot Currency Calculator, Medical Certificate Expiration Calculator, VFR Weather Minimums reference, and Reserve Fuel Calculator are based on Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) as understood at the time of publication. Regulations change. This site is not a substitute for reading the current FARs or consulting an aviation attorney or FAA representative for questions about your specific situation.

Airspace Information. The Airspace Calculator uses FAA National Airspace System Resource (NASR) data published on a 28-day cycle. This data may not reflect temporary flight restrictions (TFRs), NOTAM-activated airspace changes, or other real-time airspace modifications. The Airspace Calculator does not constitute an ATC clearance or authorization to enter any airspace. Always obtain a complete preflight NOTAM briefing before flight.

Weather Information. The Precipitation Type Estimator, Freezing Level Calculator, and related weather tools are educational estimators only. They are not weather forecasts and do not replace official aviation weather products. Always obtain a complete preflight weather briefing from an authorized source (1800wxbrief.com, aviationweather.gov, or a certified flight service station) before flight.

Medical Information. The Medical Certificate Expiration Calculator is provided for planning purposes only. Medical certificate validity depends on individual circumstances including special issuances, deferred applications, and medical conditions. Consult the FAA Aerospace Medical Certification Division or an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) for questions about your specific medical certificate status.
